SIZE: 12 wind turbines
GEN. CONTRACTOR: RMT / Good Fellow Brothers, Inc.
ECOLOGY:

Creating over 200 jobs, the Kahuku Wind Farm is the first wind energy farm on the island of Oahu in nearly two decades.  This $117 million dollar, state-of-the-art, 30-megawatt facility with its 12 wind turbines has the capacity to generate enough renewable energy to power up to 7,700 homes on Oahu each year.

The use of renewable energy has become more important than ever to help reduce air borne waste products and to allow for less oil-dependency.  ECH was responsible for installing the wind tower grounding system and the electrical foundation infrastructure for each wind tower.
